As a child I was immersed in both the visual and performing arts. My family and I visited many different musea including The Met and attended different plays and shows. What also strengthened my love for art was reading. My mom and I read many children's books and I was fascinated by and studied the details of the illustrations of the books. I began to draw and paint and made several portraits of family members.

Outside of art I loved learning about animals. I enjoyed watching Animal Planet and I would root for the underdogs of the animal kingdoms as they tried to escape their predators. I also loved looking at the dioramas of different animals at The Museum of Natural History.

While in school I continued to study art and had work displayed at several different art galleries. I also started art internships at different art galleries and musea.

During the pandemic I became a freelancer and in between work I went back to my first love in art, making portraits. I began to draw and paint portraits and began to post them on Instagram.

 

I knew that I wanted to start an art business but I kept procrastinating. That was until I started to get DMs on Instagram from people asking me to paint their pets. That's when I took the leap and registered my business.

 

Now I am focusing on making portraits of animals and other art products for people to enjoy. Not only as an artist, but also as a Christian, this is my way of showing GOD's love to the world.
